Minuses
- the heat
- migraine on the Thursday, so missing out on a lot of Thursday night socialising
- hours of doing nothing, mainly due to said heat
- packing a ridiculous amount of kit (though I did use nearly all of it)
- slightly wrecking my throat through overzealous physrepping
- only two events left

Pluses
- MALEDICTION. PROPER ONE. WITH BLOOD. (yes, the allcaps are needed. I've been OC looking forward to doing that for about three events now).
- Being so high on having actually done it that I didn't care about people calling me an idiot afterwards. Seriously, Mal's internal monologue for a large amount of Sunday could basically be summed up as a slightly delirious :D face.
- Actually having an eidolon turn up looking for me by name.
- Did I mention the malediction? And all the roleplay surrounding it (many many thanks to everyone I interacted with during that, but especially tea/Russet for being awesome).
- Righteous anger.
- All the religion.
- Withdrawal symptoms.
- Peoples' reactions to finding out about the addiction. Especially the unexpected ones.
- Getting concern from utterly unexpected and somewhat worrying sources.
- Accidentally gaining allegiances.
- "You're an ophidian."
- "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, 'VOLUME CONTROL'?"
- Interesting conversations on a variety of things, which may have sparked off a few very very inadvisable ideas.
- "You're going to die."
- Getting OC brainspace around the IC fatalism.
- Accents and fangs.
- More and more keen for the rest of the year.
- Learning something which may cause 'You're a bloody idiot' to happen to someone else.
- Having a Very Very Bad Plan to pray about.
- Getting some socialising and a crashspace on the Thursday thanks to Gracewing - many many thanks for that, mate.
- Awesome physreps-angst, thanks to Scar
