Maelstrom kit needs/wants

EDIT: Pack is now purchased (with many many thanks to my Jai for stepping up to the plate when my card didn't go through)

EDIT 2: Tent is also now purchased, though is stuck in a shop in London for the forseeable future. Ah well.

Pack-wise, am looking for a canvas backpack big enough to take kit and relatively easy to attach tent to (ease of carrying and, OOC, because I've been warned off carrying my satchel too much because of back pain [needs to be able to fit a laptop for OOC life, therefore])

Armourwise, definitely leather, though need one metal greave (though may be getting a half-finished vambrace from a friend free of charge which'd do as well [as his arm's about as thick around as my calf])
